The power of water is complex. It nourishes us as well as being an untamable destructive force. This dichotomy is compelling. The water ring design was inspired by the Great Wave off Kanagawa by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai, created in late 1831. The starfish totem is duality. The diamond wave and starfish float against turquoise, and a gold wave and starfish are on the back of the ring.
