A Quiet Moment,
Oil on Panel
30 x 48 in
What intrigues me about a ballerina is that she is elegant, graceful and strong. Her dedication and commitment, bar none, should be appreciated and celebrated. “A Quiet Moment” was painted with all this in mind. My hope is that each brushstroke could be as beautiful and graceful as a ballerina’s movement. The title of this painting was chosen to elicit thoughts of what a ballerina might be thinking in a quiet moment as well as what the viewer’s personal emotion might be when seeing a ballerina in a reflective pose. My hope is that feeling a sense of peace is experienced.
